We believe that an Executive Search engagement is
completed only when the hired executive is accepted as the bona fide team
leader. This benchmark requires not only that the right executive be selected,
but also integrated carefully with the team he/she will lead. HP’s New Executive
Transition and Team Development Program (NET) is designed to accelerate this
integration by creating a context of trust, clear communication and shared
expectations for the executive and his/her team. When this environment is
fostered at the outset, talented executives can begin to lead their team(s) in
accomplishing strategic and operating objectives earlier in their tenure. This
integration can save costly losses in productivity for the organization and
assure greater likelihood of success for both the Company and the newly hired
executive.
As dynamics within every organization are
different, needs around integration will vary as well. We recognize this and
customize our NET programs to meet the specific needs of an individual in
his/her new environment. However, the core of our NET activities will be
centered around one (or two) one-day session(s) with the executive and his/her
team, and one-on-one coaching of the executive as needed during the first six
months of his/her tenure.
